SSC-CGL is one of best option for those who are preparing for civil services. As usual it is 3 tier exam. But it is somewhat easier than MPSC. Every year SSC recruits more than 15000 posts... This number is much greater than overall recruitment by MPSC. This year I heard rumors or truth I don't know that SSC recruiting almost 22000 posts....

4.Pal and Suri: English.
5. Aggarwal's Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
6. Pratiyogita Darpan: Current
Lucent General knowledge is good book. Almost 20-25 questions from last papers were from this book. Pratiyogita Darpan is good for current knowledge.
