1.General Studies-200 marks
2. CSAT-200 marks
Paper-I: General Studies
This Paper Consists of 100 questions. Negative marking for this section is 1/3rd. Mpsc declared syllabus for this paper almost same as UPSC-Pre. Use Proper sources and get success.
Paper II: CSAT
Simple funda for cracking pre is to score CSAT. This paper consists of 80 questions and negative marking is 1/3rd. No negative marking for Decision Making.

Mains exam consists of six papers
1.Marathi:100marks (Descriptive)
2.English:100marks (Descriptive)
3.General Studies-I: 150 marks (Objective)
4.General Studies-II: 150 marks (Objective)
5.General Studies-III: 150 marks (Objective)
6.General Studies-IV: 150 marks (Objective)
Almost all qualified students have same score in GS papers. Original competition is in Marathi and English. We have to focus on every section of Marathi and English. Detailed reading of every Subject is necessary for cracking Mains. First focus on concepts and state board books.

Hi Sir , I am preparing for UPSC 2016 and want to give my best at MPSC this time too. Any tips about how to go about it after MPSC prelims..having trouble planning both together as mains of both has different focus..please advice :)

ReplyDeleteAs you are preparing for upsc you don't have to pay attention on mpsc prelims. But you have to focus on Mpsc mains. You can check list of books that I've given already for mains. Focus on objective factual parts while preparing...
