3.Geography of Maharashtra: Physical Geography, Physiographic zones, Mansoon Zones and difference between rainfall, Rivers, Mountains, Administrative zones, Natural resources- forest and minerals, Social geography- Polulation,and migration of population- Sources and destination, their impacts, rural habitats, Slums and their problems, Sant Gadgebaba Gramswachhata Abhiyan.
4. History of Maharashtra: Social and Economic changes(1885-1947), imporatant personalities, Social changes, changes in news papers and education, National movement and other movements.
5. Indian Constitution: Making of constitution, Objective resolution, Important articles and features, Center-State relation, Secular Government, Fundamental Rights and duties, Directive Principles of State- Education, Uniform Civil Code, independent judiciary.
