LIC: ADO 2015

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has published a notification for the recruitment of 5066 Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) vacancies in the jurisdiction of the various Divisional Offices. Eligible candidates may apply online from 01-06-2015 to 30-06-2015.


Age Limit: Candidates age should have completed 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 01-06-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree of a University in established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai for employee category recruitment as an Apprentice Development Officer in both Urban and Rural area shall possess the Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.

Selection Process: Candidates will be called for online test and/ or interview and medical examination.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 (Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST candidates + transaction charges) plus Transaction Charges through online payment using debit cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets).

IBPS-PO Syllabus

INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION (IBPS) PO (MT)  SYLLABUS: The syllabus of any exam is an important aspect that the candidate must know in advance in order to give path to the exam preparation. RBI Grade-B Syllabus

Scheme of Selection:
Selection will be through Examinations and Interview. Examinations will be held in two phases [Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type) and Phase-II Written Examination (Descriptive type)] as under:

(I) Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type):
       This Paper approximately of 3 hours duration for 200 marks.
The Paper consists tests of
i) General Awareness
ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude and
iv) Reasoning.
Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as aggregate, as prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Objective Test. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted in Phase-I of the On Line Examination ('OE') will be published on RBI website.

(II) Phase-II Written Examination(Descriptive Type):
The Examination will consist of three Descriptive Type papers –
(i) Paper I – English 
(ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues and 
(iii) Paper III – Finance and Management. Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.

RBI Assistent Syllabus

Objective Tests (200 marks): The 2 hours Online Test will be consisting of 200 objective type questions divided in five distinctive sections. Each question will carry 1 mark and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.  
  • Test of Reasoning (High Level)
  • Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Synonymous and antonyms, Comprehension, etc.)
  • Test of Numerical Ability (Simplification, Probability, Approximations, Series, Table analysis, Percentages, Equations, Averages, Ratio and proportions, Simple and compound interest, Data interpretation, Bar graphs, Pie chart)
  • Test of General Awareness (National and international affairs, Latest in Banking, Current Finance and Economical events, etc.)
  • Test of computer Knowledge (Computer terminology and keyboard shortcuts, Internet and computer Hardware, Computer Networking, Operating system concepts, Database concepts, etc.

Cut off Score: Candidate have to secure a minimum standard score in each of the tests and also total to be considered to be called for interview.

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit should be 20 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 30 years for Post No. 1 to 6 and minimum age limit should be 20 years, maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years for Post No.7 to 10. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Instructions for Online Application:

3. Open the link ” CWE Spl-III” and then click on the option “Click Here to Apply
Online for CWE- Specialist Officers (CWE-SPL-III) ”to open the online application form.
4. Candidates should enter all the details in the online application form, upload their photo and signature and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
5. Candidates should make the payment of fee through Online as mentioned above.
6. After submission of the payment details, a registration number and password will be generated. Candidates should note their registration number and password for future reference.
7. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates should take printout of the e-receipt.
8. After completing the procedure of applying online including payment of fees, the candidates should take printout of the system generated online application form along with registration number and password for future reference.
